This series is done in the mindset of staying local. Each photo is placed in a local setting, with the idea of creating a situation that would typically involve someone young. Instead, though, I wanted to capture a sort of humor in placing an older person in the scene. It is a homage to the older surf and skateboard generations as we get older and our responsibilities grow, often the risk of injury persuades us to be more cautious because it outweighs the thrill of the chase. But the love never dies.
